Grand Namji or Dowayo statue (doll)

The Namji doll or Dowayo, is specific to a traditional mountain people north of Cameroon. But this large size wooden doll is used by sorcerer for fertility rituals for infertile women.
This wooden decorated figure dressed in beads, nuts and animal horns were initially for little girls to play with. This two headed doll represents twins offspring.
