Usually seen during entertainment ceremonies, this African mask, according to Baule tradition, is contemplated by women. The patina is smooth black, white and brown, well braids with scarification which are called Ngole.

These portrait masks of the Baule Ndoma which are part of one of the oldest Baulé artistic traditions and frequently represent an idealized character, have a particularity of appearing at the  end of entertainment dance ceremonies. Each of these masks is distinguished by the hair styles, the location and the choice of scarifications, etc. Also called Gbagba, they personify graceful young girls or men whose bravery or qualities of integrity are renowned.
